As above on location. and easily accessed with good directions. A comfortable, well equipped home and well placed for inviting places to visit. Despite rain , we much enjoyed our trip to Lanercost and back via the Wall and the drive via Alston to Penrith.

Stunning location, absolutely gorgeous cottage. I loved it so much I wish I didnt have to leave. The owners were lovely people, nothing was too much trouble and left us to our privacy but always on hand via text. It was such a peaceful place, really magical

Our family thoroughly enjoyed out stay. We had everything we needed and the property was very spacious for 6 adults, our year old granddaughter and 2 dogs. It was lovely seeing the goings on at the farm too. Very central location for our visits to surrounding areas. Would definitely return. Owner most helpful with a query we had re extra car. We had a lovely 3 night stay at the cottage. It was a weekend to celebrate a 60th birthday & it couldn't have been a better choice. The cottage was clean & comfortable, with plenty of room for 6 of us and 2 pups. Ailsa, the owner was a pleasure to deal with & contacted us with all information prior to our stay. We would not hesitate to come back ifRead more we visit the North East again. The location of the cottage made it easy to visit Durham, Beamish Museum & the coast at Seaham. Definitely recommend!
