You are well placed to explore enchanting Hamsterley Forest, wonderful Weardale, Teesdale, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park (20 miles). Admire the art collections at Bowes Museum and wander through gardens, 17 miles from the cottage. Back at the treehouse, treat yourselves to a light lunch in the popular on-site ice cream parlour followed by exquisite cake and mouth-watering ice cream.
Access this magnificent treehouse from the bespoke metal bridge and you’ll come into a generous boot room where you can sit down to take off your shoes and hang up your outdoor clothing. Head into the spacious and light main living space which has warm and toasty underfloor heating throughout. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is full of bespoke features, not to mention amazing views from every window. The kitchen is well equipped with a range-style electric oven fridge/freezer and microwave and the large kitchen island provides plenty of workspace to prepare your meals. There are three beautifully presented bedrooms, each with an accent chair, a TV, plenty of storage, a lovely en-suite rainfall shower and WC, and a wonderful view. Two of the bedrooms are on the main floor – a super-king-size room and a double – and the third bedroom is upstairs with a king-size bed.
