We had a wonderful holiday. Millies Meadow cottage was just perfect for both of us. It was cosy and very well equipped a home from home. I chose the cottage for the view and what Id hoped would be comfort. We were not disappointed on both counts, it was great! Lovely scenery all around the area and nice attention to detail in the cottage plus a big comfy bed. A winner.

A very clean and tidy cottage that was warm and comfortable - especially useful given the weather when I stayed was grim. Epic rainfall, high winds and cold. A lovely comfortable cottage with a fantastic view of the Durham countryside. For information the pub within walking distance of the cottage does not serve food and is only open for drinks three nights a week, it could also benefit from a refurb. There are several other pubs that do serve food within a few miles. The Dairy Barn, which is situated nRead moreext door, serves breakfast, lunch, cakes, hot drinks and ice creams and is excellent.
