This property is in a great location for enjoying many walks from the doorstep, including the Causey Arch Woods, and with beautiful countryside, superb, local attractions and fascinating world heritage sites nearby, you’ll be spoilt for choice. There is a cafe and picnic area opposite and three pubs, two of which offer fantastic dining, just a stroll from the house, along with a variety of shops, pubs and eateries in nearby Sunniside (2 miles). The Tanfield Railway attraction (1 mile) offers 6-mile-round trips in Victorian carriages pulled by beautifully restored steam locomotives. Spend a day at the Beamish open-air Living Museum of the North (2.5 miles) which is perfect for all the family.
