A beautifully stylish lodge nestled in a small village within the Northumberland countryside with a relaxing hot tub and views of the River Derwent – perfect for a romantic break.
The historic town of Shotley Bridge is located on the border of Northumberland separated by the River Derwent. With plenty of river walks to choose from, it’s also a great place for wildlife spotting. Explore the Northern Pennines, waterfalls and Derwent Gorge, which is only 3 miles from the property. There are ample local pubs and restaurants to visit in Shotley Bridge, as well as an 18-hole golf course with glorious views.
Walk through the well-kept, shared gardens and step into the spacious open-plan living space. Kick back and relax on the L-shaped sofa bed – which can sleep two extra guests – and enjoy a film on the Smart TV. Cook up a storm in the well-designed, fully fitted kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. To the back of the lodge is the double bedroom and a perfectly formed shower room with a WC. The lodge is flooded with light through the large front windows, bringing the outside in.
The lodge provides parking for two cars; from here, walk along the gravel path through the well-presented gardens and immerse yourself in the countryside sounds. Gaze at the stars while relaxing in the spacious and private outdoor hot tub or enjoy the great British sunshine with a BBQ. This property has a private water supply.
