Head up to Kielder Water and Forest Park for walking and cycling trails. The owners offer cookery and gardening courses on-site and can arrange for a local chef to cook for a special occasion.
Access to this peaceful country retreat is through the front door into the hallway with the three bedrooms located on the ground floor. There is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC, a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom with a small bath, separate shower and WC and a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with en-suite shower room and WC. Heading upstairs you will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and fabulous views. With exposed beams, featured stonework and high ceilings, you really feel the sense of space and history. The large window is fixed with bi-folding openings for uninterrupted views over the lower meadow towards Devil's Water. Relax in front of the wood burner on the two comfortable sofas with two leather pouffes and for your entertainment, there is a Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer and there is a dining table and chairs for sociable meals together.
Outside, there is a pretty patio set within the original wheelhouse/gin-gang with a large dining table and chairs and a BBQ for memorable al fresco dining. There is parking for three cars.
