Ideal cottage for a couple. We were cosy and warm despite the stormy weather. It is situated two miles from Beamish Museum and the Causey Arch is a short walk away. The very helpful and friendly owner lives on site and runs tea rooms next door. We hope to return again soon.

Very clean and comfortable cottage, 1 of 3 on site, walking distance to eateries & quiet all the time we were there. Owner lives beside cottages so is around if need be! Gave us use of a pass for Beamish Museum, which was very kind. 5 minutes drive to nearest town, 25 mins to Newcastle. Would highly recommend for a quiet break.
